Nestled in a quiet corner of the city, Rue Verte is a universe where timeless design meets everyday living. Here, Simonsen & Czechura’s craftsmanship brings bespoke solutions to life—from kitchens and bathrooms to custom walk-ins—blending elegance and functionality in perfect harmony. Every detail tells a story, reflecting the personalities of those who call this space home.
Moving from the Bahamas to Denmark, this family asked us to reinterpret the architectural heart of their new home. Together with our design team, we curated a color and material composition that could bridge the two worlds—where Scandinavian restraint meets subtle Caribbean warmth.
After several years abroad and living in North Zealand, the couple wanted to be closer to the pulse of Copenhagen — without giving up the tranquility and natural surroundings.
They chose a 100-year-old, architect-designed townhouse in Hellerup. Simonsen & Czechura guided the renovation and design between the spaces.
In an coastal village by the sea, you will find this beautiful villa from the 1700s. It was originally used as a carriage house for the villa across the street. Today, these two are separated and what used to be the stables and carriage house, is now a completely renovated, cosy family home.
