NEO ECLECTICISM
FUN IS THE NEW BLACK
RESIDENTIAL
This lakeside home in northern Denmark was designed around one guiding principle: interiors should bring joy. Rather than following a fixed style or formula, the project embraces personality, colour and unexpected details, creating a home that feels both highly individual and deeply personal.

A carefully curated mix of art, colour and bespoke joinery defines this home. We designed and handcrafted three separate kitchens for the project, a utility kitchen, a pool house kitchen and the main kitchen, each tailored to a specific function while maintaining a cohesive design language throughout.

Custom-designed joinery appears throughout the home, from soft pistachio-green bedroom cabinetry to a six-metre-long hand-painted bookcase with playful asymmetrical shelving for books, objects and family treasures.

The interiors were tailored specifically to the family's lifestyle and interests. In the master bedroom, we designed a bespoke bed with an elevated height, allowing the owners to enjoy views across the lake from the moment they wake.

A HOME WITHOUT RULES
What makes this project unique is the absence of a rigid design framework. Instead, every room was approached individually, allowing creativity, colour and personality to guide the process.

The result is a home that does not simply follow trends but reflects the people who live in it. A place where craftsmanship, imagination and everyday life come together.
