Nordic craft meets Bahamian soul

Moving from the Bahamas to Denmark, this family asked us to reinterpret the architectural heart of their new home. Together with our design team, we curated a color and material composition that could bridge the two worlds, where Scandinavian restraint meets subtle Caribbean warmth.
Bow handles in brown brass introduce a warm, tactile contrast to the matte surfaces, enhancing the overall material rhythm.
In close collaboration with the family, we designed bespoke solutions tailored to daily functionality. A spacious pantry that supports both storage and spatial flow, and custom shelves designed to display cherished items, blending memories from the family’s previous life in the Bahamas with new pieces from their home in Denmark. The result is a kitchen that operates not just as a workspace, but ends up creating a home that tells a story through form, color, and tradition.
We developed a palette anchored in a soft butter-yellow, complemented by dusty pink accents and a grounding forest green. The kitchen is crafted from our Classic Collection, chosen for its clean lines, enduring proportions, and ability to integrate naturally into both modern and traditional contexts.
