After several years abroad and living in North Zealand, the couple wanted to be closer to the pulse of Copenhagen — without giving up the tranquility and natural surroundings.
They chose a 100-year-old, architect-designed townhouse in Hellerup. Simonsen & Czechura guided the renovation and design between the spaces.
With the desire for a harmonious home, where minimalism, quality, and serenity take center stage, the interiors were crafted in warm wood and stone materials. To achieve an international yet intimate atmosphere, we chose our Post collection as the overall design solution. Its minimalist, Nordic expression creates a natural flow from room to room, where the subtle variations of the natural stone harmonize with the smoked oak.
The interiors vary in each part of the home, with different materials and tones, creating harmony without feeling repetitive. The home thus emerges as a central point of design.
Curated decor with RUE VERTE
RUE VERTE has complemented the spaces with decorative elements and sculptural interiors, carefully selected to harmonize with our Simonsen & Czechura design solutions. The result is a cohesive and sensorial experience, where every detail enhances the overall composition.
From the bedroom, one flows gracefully into the walk-in wardrobe and bathroom, where the spaces exist in perfect harmony. The choice of materials unites the rooms: smoked oak, bronzed brass fronts, and natural stone in the bathroom with burnt veining create a warm, sophisticated, and timeless atmosphere.
In both the bathroom and the wardrobe, custom-made mirrors in bronzed brass are arranged in various sizes, carefully tailored to the proportions of each space. The result is a home that is both functional and sensorial, where every element is thoughtfully designed so that materials, proportions, and surfaces complement one another.
